I hope and pray that all is well with you and your household. Please find below highlights of the recent General Meeting that was held on August 8, 2021. Please be reminded that the full minutes will be presented at our next General Meeting.
Meeting Highlights:
I. Naming of Facilities: Several facilities, including the Library, Teacher's Lounge, Auditorium, and the Multipurpose Court are named in honor of our patrons; Mr. John Nagbe, Rev. Amos Nyema, Teacher Hannah Bush, and Mr. Francis Nyepan, respectively. Detailed information is available on our website.
II. Desktops & Printer: The Association purchased two desktops and a printer for the school. One desktop is currently placed in the Principal’s office and the other in the Registrar's office. The printer is also placed in the Principal's office. Detailed information is available on our website.
III. Website: Our website is in full swing. Please visit to get updates and other vital information from the President on the programs and activities of the Association. Visit the website at cphsaa-usa.org.
IV. Water System Project: This project in currently ongoing. Check the website periodically for updates. We are still accepting donations. Please contact the Financial Secretary for information on how to make your contributions. Detailed information is available on our website.
V. Treasurer and Financial Secretary Reports: The Treasurer and Financial Secretary Reports, including Total Cost for each project undertaken since 2018 and each member’s Contributions to projects and Dues Payments from 2018 to present are available on the website. Please pay your dues to be in Good Standing with the Association.
VI. Convention 2022: Members decided to give DMV (DC, Maryland and Virginia) the opportunity to host the 2022 Convention. A feasibility report on the 2022 Convention will be submitted to the EC (Executive Committee) in two weeks from the date of the General Meeting for review and discussion.
VII. Global Connection Conference: Members agreed to host a Virtual Global Connection Conference to bring all Alumni and stakeholders together to brainstorm on common issues related to the Association and our Alma Mater. Mr. Abrom Cooper will present a summary report to the EC for review.
VIII. General Elections: Members agreed to hold general elections during the 2022 ANC (Annual National Convention). The President will appoint an Election Commission prior to the 2022 ANC.
