I hope all is well with you and your family. Since our last General Meeting, I am pleased to provide updates on our programs and activities.
Convention Update:
The 2022 Annual Convention is scheduled from August 12 - 14 in The Borough of East Lansdowne, Pennsylvania. The Host of this year's event is Mrs. Ruth Nyema George. Mrs. George will host the Meet and Greet on Friday, August 12, and the Farewell on Sunday, August 14, respectively. This year's Convention Program and Dinner Ball venue are the Faith Emmanuel Lutheran Church. Our Guest Speaker is Honorable Majovie Bland, Mayor of The Borough of East Lansdowne, Pennsylvania. Honorable Nee Allison, President of NAMCAL, will install our new officers.
Convention Fees:
May I take this time to appeal to you to please pay your $150 Annual Convention Fee. Please contact the Financial Secretary to make your payment. You may also make payment on our website at cphsaa-usa.org.
Appointments:
It is my honor to announce the appointment of Mr. B. Tarleh Nyema as the Elections Committee Chair. Mr. Nyema will appoint members of his committee. I am also honored to announce the appointment of Mr. E. Cholo Nyema as our Scholarship Committee Chair. Mr. Cholo Nyema will appoint his committee members.
Silent Auction:
We are appealing for donated new items for our Silent Auction. Any items donated will be appreciated. Please contact Ms. Faith Lawrence to send your donated new items. We appreciate your support.
Thanks and Appreciation:
My gratitude and appreciation to the Chairlady, Mrs. Ophelia Yarsiah, and the Convention Planning Committee members for the early planning and organization of this year's event. Please look out for our flyer with hotels and other important information, including addresses to various venues.
