Dear Colleagues,
I bring you greetings on behalf of the Executive Committee of CPHSAA-USA. I hope and pray that all is well with you and your family. It is my honor to proffer you with the following updates on the progress of our Association.
1. The Association’s website is now complete, active, and ready for review. You can find our contact information, history, news, pictures, documents, and current and past projects on the site. The website address is: https//www.cphsaa-usa.org. Please contact the President and Secretary with any questions.
2. The Water System Project has started. We will continue to abreast you of the progress of the project. See the project documents and pictures under Current Projects. Our thanks and gratitude to all contributors to the project. Please donate to the project to add your name to the list. The list of all contributors will be updated periodically on the website. 3. As of February 28, 2021, the Association’s Bank Balance is $4,787.66. For further information on our account, please contact the Treasurer, Ms. Jannie E. Bright. Please be reminded to pay your 2021 Annual Dues. Payments can be sent to the Financial Secretary, Mrs. Anna C. Barlee. As always, we will be transparent in providing information to you and will also be accountable for your resources.
4. Please review the Association’s Constitution and Bylaws. It is very important for all members to be familiar with the Bylaws, especially the below articles: Article III, Sec. 3&4 Article III, Sec. 3: Membership Dues. Each member shall be obligated to pay regular dues to the Association in the amount to be determined by the members of the Association. Any member who is in arrears will, after due notification from the Association, have his/her membership inactivated. Article III, Section 4: Good Standing Good standing as defined by this constitution shall mean being duly registered, attending meetings regularly, being current with payment of annual dues, actively participating in the affairs of the Association and being compliant with the Association’s Code of Conduct. Article X, Section I (b). A member of the Association shall be suspended for the following reasons: Failure to pay annual dues. Colleagues, we should not fall victim to these Articles, especially the elected and appointed officers. As elected and appointed officers of the Association, we should show the example and leadership for the general membership to follow. It is very important for all members to be current in their dues payment and, also continue to make contributions to initiatives.
5. Please contact our Treasurer, Ms. Jannie E. Bright, to request your Tax-Deductible Receipt for all your 2020 donations to the Association. Remember, CPHSAA-USA is a 501(c)(3) organization. Your donation is tax deductible. May God bless you and your household.
